Bill Gregory

Our Chief Executive Officer, Bill Gregory, has been actively involved in the funeral and cemetery industry, serving the families of Middle Tennessee for over 35 years. He began his career at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, which he still oversees operations for today.

He built his first funeral home in west Nashville in 1994 and has continued to grow the Family Legacy properties which include funeral homes, cemeteries, a crematory and floral services serving most Middle Tennessee families. While he continues to grow our company, he maintains our tradition of providing the same exceptional level of care we would desire for our own family.

Our Chief Operations Officer, Cindy started with our company in 1992. She holds a business management degree and also serves as Executive Director for the Cemetery Association of Tennessee. Utilizing her years of experience in the funeral and cemetery industry, Cindy oversees all day to day operations. She truly loves her job and believes that her role is to support our team by providing them the tools they need to best serve families.

Our Chief Financial Officer, responsible for growing and improving our organization, joined us in 2013. As a former CPA with an international accounting firm, president of an area memorial gardens and VP of Marketing for the largest software company in our industry, he is uniquely suited to serve our company as we strive to provide the very best service to the families of Middle Tennessee. His relationship with Family Legacy goes back over 25 years and his goal is to ensure that each family we serve can indeed “Celebrate Life. Remember Forever.”

After serving as our Chief Financial Officer for 15 years, Gregg now serves as our Financial Specialist, working on several projects to help move our company forward. His experience and broad-based business management skills have been an asset to us over the years.

Our VP Advance Planning is responsible for managing our Family Service Counselors to ensure families are able to make cemetery, cremation and funeral arrangements in advance. As a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Ben knows the importance of being prepared.   

Ben has extensive experience in the profession and believes making funeral, cremation, or cemetery decisions does not have to be a difficult process.  He knows the advance planning process allows you to express your wishes and relieve your loved ones of this future emotional and financial burden. This makes it one of the greatest gifts you can give our family.

Our VP Cemetery Operations, Kevin oversees the care of our cemeteries, managing equipment and crews for burials, landscaping, maintenance and development. Kevin has an extensive background in the industry. He leads our grounds crews with the philosophy that Families are #1 and tells the guys “treat every service like it’s your mamma’s”.
