Donald Bender

Donald Bender “Duck”, age 73, of Portland, passed away Sunday June 13, 2021.  He was born in Sumner County, TN on October 19, 1947 to the late Pless Henry and Mary Lee Bender.  He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Lottie Bender, and their children, Justin Bender, Mark (Shelley) Bender, and Teresa (Michael) Rigsby.  He is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve grandchildren; sister Patty Bender; brothers, Henry and Terry Bender.  Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, White House on Tuesday June 15 from 4pm – 8pm, and on Wednesday at 11 am until the celebration of life service at 1pm with Robert Gilman, officiating.  Interment will follow at Halltown Cemetery.
