Beverly Draper Williamson Trotter, 82, of Goodlettsville passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021. Born March 8, 1939 in Davidson County she was the daughter of the late George Bell Williamson and Thelma Grace Draper Williamson. Beverly was a life-long Goodlettsville resident. Her family’s ancestry could be traced back to the origins of Goodlettsville. She was a 1957 graduate of Goodlettsville High School. She was also a certified member of the Cherokee Tribe of Northeast Alabama, and a member of the Goodlettsville Southern Methodist Church. Beverly enjoyed retelling the family’s history and assorted stories from our community’s past. She is survived by her husband, Welbon Trotter; a son, Rick (Linda) Trotter of Nebraska; three grandsons, Wayne Trotter, Artie Trotter and Ben Trotter; eight great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters; and a brother. A service in celebration of Beverly’s life will be held Saturday at 2 pm at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville. Visitation will precede the service from 12 noon until 2 pm.
