William Wilson

William Layne Wilson of Nashville passed away on October 4, 2005 at the age of 83. Mr. Wilson was a member of the VFW, the American Legion, the DAV and was a proud WWII veteran. He was preceded in death by his son, Dennis Paul Wilson. Mr. Wilson is survived by his loving wife Roxie Norwood Wilson and three children; Tommy Wilson, Nora Gail Bradshaw Leonard and Mona Kay Wilson, as well as four grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 - 8 PM on Thursday, October 6, 2005 at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted from the Chapel of West Harpeth at 12 noon on Friday, October 7, 2005. Interment will follow funeral services at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
