SMITH, William Allen, age 85. July 29, 2012. Survived by wife, Betty M. Smith; children, Stan Smith, Sheila Hastings, Phillip Smith; sisters, Ann Edwards, Francis Johnson; step children, Gail Chilton, Gary Hobbs, Rhonda Sweeny, Barry Hobbs; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren, 2 step great-grandchildren. The service will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
