Wendell Ellis

Age 80 years. He was retired from Dupont in Old Hickory where he worked for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Ellis Sr., and mother, Berta Lee Wilson Ellis, two sons, Wendell (Bink) and Bryan. He was married to Linda Rowlette Hall. He was a 32nd degree mason and past master. He was a past member of the Al Menah Temple Shrine horse patrol. He was also in the Scottish Rites for 33 years. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and Duck Hunter. He is survived by his wife Linda, and stepdaughter Tiffany Hall, his brothers Howard, Richard (Rick) and sister Johnnie Rose (Susie), grandchildren, great grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews. There will be no public services at this time. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Shriner's Hospital.
