He is survived by his wife of 38 years Sandra Nelson, daughters; Tammy Tony Claude and Kathy Mike Waffird, son; Thomas Carrie Nelson, brother; Irving Nelson, sister; Shirley Hermann, grandchildren; Elizabeth, Shelby, Wesley, Nathan, Ian and Rachel and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 10am, Saturday, Aug. 5, at 109 Lori Lee Drive in Gallatin, with Marshall Gupton officiating. Visitation will start after the service until 12 noon.
