Jennette, Velma Odessa, 85, Passed away peacefully February 24, 2007. Preceded in death by husband, Ernest Clay Jennette Sr.; sons, Ernest Clay Jennette Jr. and Jerry Lynn Jennette. Survived by children, Dilly Eddie DeFord, Sherry Troglen, Nancy Don Nichols, Mike Teresa Jennette; sister, Betty McClellan; grandchildren, Sherry, Craig, Lori, Scott, Andy, Nikki, Dustin, Adam, Jon, Danielle, Shawna, Carrie, Daniel, Davis, J.J. and Jimmy; 14 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Pastor John Gouldener officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of West Meade Place for their compassionate care.
