Tony Lee Dorris, age 57 of Greenbrier, Tennessee, passed away October 2, 2020. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Eliza Dorris, and James Parker. Survived by his grandmother, Lona Belle Parker; parents, Billy Wayne and Linda Dorris; children, Alaina Dorris, Cody Dorris, Brady Dorris, and Logan Dorris, and their mother, Mitzi Dorris; grandson, Charles Large; sister, Annette Dorris; brother, Michael (Kim) Dorris, and several extended family members. Tony was a graduate of Goodlettsville High School, Class of 1981. He was a long time member of Connell Memorial United Methodist Church, and a member of the Joyful Noise Sunday School class. He recently retired from Goodlettsville Middle School after over 30 years of service, where he coached almost every sport. He was the assistant coach at Greenbrier Middle School, alongside his son Brady. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, TN Tuesday October 6 from 2-8 pm. Celebration of Life will be at 2pm on Wednesday October 7 at Connell United Methodist Church with visitation from 12 Noon until service time. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
