Terri Foster

Terri Diane Williams Foster, 73, passed away Tuesday December 3, 2019 at her home with her family by her side. Born in Winston Salem, NC August 9, 1946 she was the daughter of Zora (Nifong) Hartman and the late John David Hartman. She grew up in North Carolina where her family worked in church construction. Terri had worked locally as a manager at Wendy's and Hardee's restaurants but she was best known for her cake baking and decorating ability. She grew her business of baking and decorating wedding cakes through word of mouth and had provided wonderful creations for many couples in the area. Terri loved to cook and especially enjoyed preparing meals around the holidays for her family. She also liked riding motorcycles with her husband. Terri was a very loving and giving person who had a deep love for her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Terry; her daughters, Shannon (Rodney) Fansler and Mandy (Shawn) Szellar; her step-son, John (Aaron) Brian; and her seven grandchildren, Preston, Maddie, Alex, McKenzie, Madison, Aaralynn and Caden. At Terri's request there will be no public services. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
