Susie Ann Maynard, 87, of Gallatin passed away Wednesday, February 24th, 2021. Born March 4th, 1933 in Nashville, TN, Susie was the daughter of the late Jesse Byrd and Mary Norris Byrd. She was also predeceased by her husband of over 60 years, Frank Maynard; her children, Sarah, Hazel, Raymond, and Robert; and several siblings. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. A Christian woman, Susie was a member of Woodcock Baptist Church and loved her church family. She enjoyed crafts and was especially good at knitting. She is survived by her children, Sherry Maynard, Joyce Maynard, Mary Stoller, and Wade Maynard. A celebration of life service will be held at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, TN at 1:30 PM Monday, March 1st. followed by interment at Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 11:30 until 1:30.
