Susan B. Castorena Nichols, 65, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018. Born in Queens, NY, January 12, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Rudolpho and Ann (Olsen) Castorena. Susan derived her greatest joy from being with her family. She was an accomplished cook and baker and truly loved to do so for others. She was selfless, thoughtful and caring but she could also be sassy and stubborn and had a quick wit. In her leisure time she liked to shop and especially liked antiquing. Susan is survived by her husband, Raymond Nichols; two daughters, Heather James and her husband Richard, and Kristen Searcey and her husband Noel; four grandchildren, Ryan James, Taylor James, Jaxson Gingerich, and Ava Gingerich; a great-grandson, Ryder James; two sisters, Linda Finley and her husband Steve, and Pam Pittel and her husband Gary; and two brothers, Robert Castorena and Peter Olsen. Visitation for Susan will be held at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Tuesday, January 9th from 6 to 7 PM with a Life Celebration Service at 7 PM.
