December 19, 1945-September 22, 2015. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank, Sr., and Dorris Batson; siblings, Khlotelle Mitchell, Robert Batson, Sr., Ward Batson, Cooksey Batson and Tommy Batson. Survived by husband, Bill Ayers; children, Kellye Randolph (Randy), Chip Parnell (Mischelle), Morris Ayers (Jessica), and Susan Johnson (David); grandchildren, Chad Cunningham (Lindy), Kyle Cunningham (Scarlett), Kristi Heath (Dillon), April Phillips (Dylan), Ashley & Hope Parnell, Austin & Matthew Hendrix, Tayler and Elana Ayers, Anna , Emma & Will Johnson; great-grandsons, Braden Parnell, Beren Cunningham, Easton Phillips; siblings, Nancy Alexander (Grady), Margaret Perry (Buford), Sarah Turbeville (Ricky) Wayne Batson, Frank Batson (Judy). Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville Thursday from 4-8pm. Funeral service will be 11 am Friday at Walkers United Methodist Church, 2947 Lower Walkers Creek Rd, with Frank Batson and Bill Roark, officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Walkers United Methodist Women. Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men. A verse Sue lived by daily.
