Shirley Snyder

SNYDER, Shirley – age 82 of Nashville passed away surrounded by her family on August 30, 2011. Ms. Snyder was a strong minded woman who enjoyed traveling, being a caregiver, dancing especially the Waltz but most of all being with her family. She and her husband owned Snyder & Metts Amusements. She was a very lucky woman in everything she did. Preceded in death by her husband, Hillman Snyder, Sr.; children, Debbie Snyder Poling and Linda Snyder Metts. Survived by her son, Hillman Snyder, Jr. and his wife of 37 years Janie; grandchildren, Jill Snyder McCormack Mike and Jamie Metts Catherine; great-grandchildren, Haley McCormack, Lexi McCormack, Jackson Metts and Emily Metts. A Life Celebration will be held 1pm Thursday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
