Shirley Burt

She is survived by spouse, Kenneth A. Burt, Cedar Hill, TN, sons, Wade of White House, James of Clarksville, and son John of Hendersonville, who in particular had given unselfishly and responded to his mother's medical, physical and spiritual needs during her illness. This was a great source of comfort to her. Mrs. Burt is also survived by granddaughters, Christina Brown of Millersville, Rebekah Burt of White House, and grandsons, Kenny, Michael, Phillip and Jasper Burt and great grandchildren, Kayla, Nathan and Camille. Mrs. Burt was a lifetime member of the National Gardening Club and most enjoyed life when she was in the yard with her plants or sewing for family and friends. Visitation will be from 2pm til 4pm and 6pm til 8pm Friday, January 6, at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Services will be conducted 2pm Saturday, January 7, at Hendersonville Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Hodges officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers: The Staff and Third Floor Nurses of Hendersonville Medical Center. Entombment will be in Hendersonville Memory Gardens Chapel of Memories. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you plant a flower in Shirley's memory.
