Samuel Boord

BOORD, Samuel Leroy "Lee" 83 of Goodlettsville, passed away March 27, 2007. Devoted husband, father and grandfather. Longtime member of Calvary Chapel at Rivergate. Served in WWII as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Aircorps. Lifetime member of Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel & Lena Boord; wife Jessamine Chase Boord; sister, Kathryn Boord South. Survived by wife, Paulette Smith Boord; son, Chase Boord; daughters, Kathryn (Pete) McMillan, Nancy Boord, Beth (Henry Ambrose) Boord, Carli Maclean; step-daughter, Michelle (Chris) Covington; 12 grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8pm. Services will be held Saturday 2pm at Calvary Chapel at Rivergate with Jerry McAnulty officiating with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment will be at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff and doctors of Ridgetop Haven for the care and support they have shown towards Lee and his family.
