Ruth Mcmurtry

McMurtry, Mrs. Ruth, age 95 of Hendersonville passed away Sunday December 23, 2007 at her home. She was a member of Saundersville United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman D. "Mac" McMurtry and a grandson, Richard H. McMurtry, Jr. Her son Richard H. McMurtry and her daughter Mary Jo McElyea, granddaughter Marcessa Palmer and a great-grandson, Alexander Palmer survive her. A memorial service will be held at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Hendersonville on Friday December 28, at 6 pm with Rev. Malcolm Patton, officiating. The family will recieve friends from 3 pm until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
