Ruth Hall Burton

Ruth Hall Burton, 94, of Goodlettsville, TN passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 in Kennesaw, GA.  Born on February 3, 1929 in White House, TN to Cecil and Lovie Ann Hall, Ruth graduated from White House High School in 1947 and married Glen Harris Burton of White House on March 5, 1955. 

She worked for First American National Bank in Nashville until 1961 before transferring to the Bank of Goodlettsville where she worked until her retirement. A member of First Baptist Church of Goodlettsville for 63 years, she taught Children’s Sunday School for more than 30 years.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Glen, infant daughter Susan, and brother James Hall.  She is survived by her son Steve of Kennesaw, GA and granddaughter Ashley of Culleoka, TN.

Visitation will be held at Cole and Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 10 AM  - 12 PM followed by a graveside service at Hillcrest Cemetery in White House at 12:30 PM.
