R.T. Mercer

MERCER, R.T., age 84 of Nashville, passed away March 7, 2009. Mr. Mercer was retired from Werthan Bag Company after 46 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Mercer; daughter, Brenda Eddie Schoate; sons, Danny Gail Mercer, and Johnny Vicki Mercer; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Ellen Williams; and brother, Dwight Cherry Mercer. Active pallbearers will be Bobby, Chris, Jeff, Mike, Michael, and Carl Joe. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 10th at 1:00 P.M. from the chapel of West Harpeth Funeral Home with Larry Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
