Roger Evans

EVANS, Roger- Age, 71, Nashville, September 23, 2012. Born on December 7, 1940. Graduate of Cohn High School, 1958. He enjoyed a career in Insurance for 34 yrs., where he spent many days traveling the beautiful roads of TN. As a resident of Bellevue, he opened River Plantation Market in 1995, which was a life-long dream. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, travel, and anything related to the UT Vols. He was also known as a loyal friend, dedicated to his family, and always available when someone needed him. His presence will be missed by all. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Rubie Evans; brother, Leslie Boyd Evans. Survived by daughter, Christy Paul Jackson; grandchildren, Paige and Jonathan Berlin; brother, Troy Evans; and numerous nieces and nephews. A life celebration service will be at 12pm on Friday, September 28, 2012 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
