Rick Blaylock

Blaylock, Rick age 62 of Goodlettsville. Passed away January 15, 2011. Survived by his wife Lynne Blaylock; son Derrick Lane Blaylock; daughters Jessica Lynne Blaylock and Carolyn Katie Blaylock-Lilly; step-son Michael Lee Smith; grandson Etienne Adam Hebert; brothers Rod Blaylock and Randy Blaylock; sisters Nancy Bausher, Cherry Tournoux, and Donna Mather. Mr. Blaylock was a well known Nashville entertainer and songwriter, best known for the Joe Diffie hit �"Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox If I Die.�" He was a veteran of the United States Navy. A gathering of family and friends will take place at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home Wednesday January 19 from 4-7 pm.
