Dr. Richard L. Randolph, November 11, 2013, age 78. Survived by loving wife of 59 years, Billie Randolph; daughters, Elizabeth (Phil) Mitchell, Sheri (Darrell) White; son, Rick Randolph; grandchildren, Amber Cutrell, Shawn (Carrie) Dancer, Erin Mitchell (Olin) Thomas, Austin Mitchell, Justin Randolph, Ryan Randolph; great-grandchildren, Kealey and Emma Cutrell, Isabella and Hallie Dancer, Crew Campbell, Preston Thomas; sisters, Barbara (Wayne) Kent, Linda (David) Oliver; sister-in-law, Ellen Randolph; special niece and nephew, Scott and Jenifer Paquette. Preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Geneva Randolph; sisters, Joyce Hall, Gail Springer, Caroline R. Terry; brother, Thurman Randolph, Jr. Richard was a member and deacon of Trinity Baptist Church in Hendersonville. He was a charter member of the Rivergate Chapter of Toastmasters International. He recieved his B.S. at Belmont University, his M.A. from MTSU, and his doctorate from TSU. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville Wednesday from 2-8 pm. Funeral service will be Thursday November 14 at 1pm at Trinity Baptist Church, 840 Forest Retreat Rd., Hendersonville with Dr. Lloyd Johnson, officiating. Interment Beech Cemetery.
