PAYNE, Richard C. Age 69 of Nashville, TN died November 23, 2005. He was the Pharmacy Director at St. Thomas Hospital for 25 years. To the world he was a Christian, a pharmacist, a pilot, and a family man. To us he was a father, a son, a husband, a friend, an advisor, a provider, a reader of good books, an admirer, and a man to be admired. We knew him as "Dad", "Daddy-O", "Richard", and ‘Doctor Payne." We survive him and he survives in us. We are his family and friends and will sorely miss him until we meet again. Preceded in death by his parents, Olen T. Payne, Sr. and Susie Payne, two brothers, Olen T. Payne, Jr. and Jerry C. Payne. Survived by wife, Joyce Weeks Payne; children, Richard A. Payne Michelle, Randy L. Payne Tammy, Robert L. Payne Staci , Gregory T. Payne Lori, Melanie McKissack; grandchildren, Haley, Kortney, Kristin, Kaley, Rosa, Damien, Brett, Tyler; sister, Janet Evans. Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be The Men's Good News Bible class at Harpeth Heights Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Friday at
