Randy Joe Covington

Randy Joe Covington, 66, of Cross Plains, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family & friends.  Born May 21, 1958, in Bloomington, Illinois, he was the son of the late Darwin & Betty Covington.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Ricky Dean & Eugene Covington.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Evelyn Hale Covington; son Joshua (Christina) Covington and Joseph (Jessica Mosley) Covington; daughter Lacy Covington; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister Brenda Covington; aunt Ellen Tate; and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 10 am until 2:00 pm at Buck Lodge Church of Christ, 532 AB Wade Road, Portland, TN  37148.  A celebration of Randy's life will follow at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Randy's family.
