Pixie Story

September 23, 1959 — July 12, 2024

Pixie Story, whose life journey began on September 23, 1959, peacefully passed away on July 12, 2024, has left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate to know her. Pixie dedicated an impressive 33 years to Opryland/Gaylord, where her passion and dedication shone brightly in all she did.

Described as bubbly, kind, easy-going, humble, brilliant, and loving, Pixie's warm spirit and genuine nature endeared her to everyone she met. Her captivating personality brightened the lives of those around her and left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with her.

Pixie found solace and joy in gardening—a passion that brought her peace and happiness. Her green thumb not only nurtured beautiful blooms but also symbolized the care and love she showered upon her surroundings.

Pixie will be deeply missed by her surviving family and friends, including her beloved daughter Megan Daniel Brown; devoted sisters Robyn (Terry) Bain and Ree Moses.

Pixie’s cherished grandchildren, Benjamin Lewis, Gabrial Lewis, and James Ray Thornhill; to whom she was affectionately known as “Nana”, were her pride and joy.

She is now reunited with her parents, James Franklin Story and Ruth Joyce Story, in a place of eternal peace.

Pixie was a member of Ridgetop Seventh Day Adventist Church for 21 years.
