DAILEY, Peggy Aloha Leslie, Age 85 of Hendersonville, March 25, 2013. Born April 23, 1927 in Cedartown, GA. She grew up in Old Hickory where she met her late husband, Tom Dailey. She served as a recruiter in the US Cadet Nurse Corp then became an RN at St. Thomas for 15 years. She then worked for Nashville Memorial Hospital as one of their first nurses; she retired in 1990. She continued her nursing legacy by inclusion in Who's Who in Nursing. She volunteered taking blood pressures for Rivergate Mall walkers. She was active with the Goodlettsville Chamber of Commerce and community events. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie D. Leslie and Rosa Whiteside Leslie; sister, Mary Dee Leslie. She is survived by her daughters, Peggy (Bill) Clinton, Jill (Al) Knight; grandchildren, Ray (Shannon) Knight, Lee (Alaina) Knight, Charlie (Alicia) Clinton, Andy (Chelsea) Clinton, Lydia (Clay) Hutchison and Shelley Knight; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Aidan Clinton, Sara, Adelyn and Cooper Knight; sister, JoAnn Trotman Ballard. Family will receive friends Thursday, March 28, 2013 4-8 p.m. at Cole & Garrett, Goodlettsville. Funeral service Friday, 11 a.m. with visitation 2 hrs prior to service. Rev. Von Unruh will officiate. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Emeritus and NHC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beech Grove UMC, 4318 Brick Church Pike, Whites Creek, TN 37189.
