Patricia Poole Searcy, 77, formerly of Goodlettsville passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 in Gatlinburg, TN. Born April 29, 1943 in Portland, TN, she was the daughter of the late Walter Clyde Poole and Lillie Vanatta Poole. Patricia was also preceded in death by her husband, Stanley W. Searcy; a son, Todd A. Searcy; her mother-in-law, Lorene Searcy; and her father-in-law, Earl Searcy. Patricia was raised and educated in Portland, TN where she graduated from Portland High School. She had worked as a secretary for her late husband at Performance Fabricators. She loved to cook and sew. In her free-time she enjoyed traveling; particularly to the Smoky Mountains and Hawaii. She was dedicated to her family and loved ones, and especially loved her family's holiday gatherings and other visits. Patricia is survived by her son, Kevin W. Searcy; sisters Charlotte Walker, and Debbie (Tommy) Jernigan; daughter-in-law, Angela Searcy; sister-in-law, Janet Jones; brother-in-law, Gene Jones; nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday from 4 to 7 PM and Tuesday from 10 to 11 AM at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, TN. A celebration of life service will be held at the funeral home, Tuesday at 11 AM followed by interment at Beech Cemetery, Hendersonville.
