Pamela Curtis

Pamela Ruth McMurtry Curtis, age 65 of died on January 11, 2010 in White House, TN. She was born on January 28, 1954 in Nashville TN to George and Dora Ogeail McMurtry. She married Jerry Curtis on January 28, 1972, and they raised 2 daughters, Charla and Courtney. Pam went to beauty school after her children were older and worked as a hair stylist for many years. Pam enjoyed sewing and working in the yard. She loved to decorate for Christmas and bake her favorite chocolate pies and banana puddings.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ogeail McMurtry, and siblings George McMurtry Jr., Reba McMurtry Close, Charles McMurtry, Gloria Jean McMurtry Ralph and Gary D. McMurtry, as well as her husband Jerry Donald Curtis.
She is survived by her daughters Charla Curtis Clark (James), and Courtney Curtis; Grandchildren: Austin, Allison, Avaleigh and Lilly James, and her siblings; Neicie Thompson (Bo), Judy Ralph (Tommy), LaDonna Payne (James), Billy Ray McMurtry (Betty) and Pete McMurtry Gantt (Penny).
A celebration of life will be on Tuesday January 14 from 2-4 pm at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home Goodlettsville.
