Opal Carter

Opal M. Carter, age 94 of Hendersonville, passed away on August 4, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Leander Carter, and a daughter, Sandra Lee Carter. She is survived by her sons, Bill Carter Bonnie of Cottontown, Howard Carter Peggy of Hendersonville; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great –grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Carter was a member of the Central Baptist Church of Hendersonville. Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, August 6 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with Johnny Parrish officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery in Cunningham, Tennessee. Mrs. Carter's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will begin on Friday, August 6, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Hendersonville Memory Gardens & Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
