CARNEY, Nellie. 87, Nashville, January 29, 2008. Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Minnie Carter; brothers, Jack, Hawk, and James Carter; daughter, Joyce Clouse Pittman; granddaughters, Cheryl and Nikki Clouse; grandson, Thomas Wayne Clouse. Survived by loving husband of 40 years, L.W. Carney; sons, Michael, Wayne Pat, and Gary Peggy Clouse; daughters, Brenda Tommy Parker, Elaine Bill Jordan; step-daughter, Janet Kay Nicholson; 18 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; four great, great grandchildren; brother, Horace Carter; sister, Bessie Burnette; many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be on Friday, February 1, 2008, 2 pm at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
