Mildred Paul

Mildred C. (Tidwell) Paul, 65, of Nashville and a longtime Hendersonville resident, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018. Born in Nashville, December 16, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Virgie Tidwell and Ada Aline Hendrickson. Mildred was one of six children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sanders D. Paul and also by a brother, Billy. Family was the most important of her life. She was a loving and protective mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who would always put her families needs before her own. She leaves to cherish her memory, Her sons, Andy Paul and Billy Whitaker; her daughter, Melissa Mellinger; her grandchildren, Destiny Paul, Brandon Paul, Devin Mellinger and Cassie Whitaker; her great-grandson, James; her siblings, Diane, Birdy, Brenda and Albert; and her sister-in-law, Cassie Birdwell. Visitation will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 from 10 to 12 noon at Cole & Garrett White House Chapel. A Life Celebration Service will be held at the funeral home at noon followed by burial in Hillcrest Municipal Cemetery.
