Martha Carol (Evans) Swafford, 64 of Nashville, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 in Fernandina Beach, FL. Born in Nashville, July 25, 1955, Martha was the daughter of Jo Hazel Evans and the late Charles Edward Evans. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Michael Evans. A hardworking woman, Martha was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Dale) Smith; her grandson, Wyatt Smith; her mother, Jo Hazel Evans; her sister, Kathy Lynn Rollins; and several nieces nephews and extended family and friends. A celebration of life service will be held for Martha on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 12:30 PM at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 11 AM until 12:30 PM. Burial at Hendersonville Memory Gardens will be following the life celebration service.
