Mark was characterized by his outgoing nature; he genuinely never met a stranger. His warm spirit and friendly smile brought joy to many, creating connections that were often remembered fondly. Mark is survived by his beloved children, Jannelle McFarland and Braxton McFarland. He also leaves behind his siblings: Mike (Felicia) Hoffman, Doug Hoffman, Nancy Smith, Mary Allen, and Jo Ann Brown. A special friend with Luci Miller; and childhood friend, Steve Cravens.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Mary McFarland, and his brothers David Hoffman, Randy Keesling, and Timothy Keesling, whose memories will forever be cherished by Mark's family.

Mark Lane McFarland will be remembered for his unwavering kindness, his craftsmanship, and the love he shared with all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy lives on through his children and the countless lives he touched.
