Malcolm L. Grubbs, 81, formerly of Greenbrier, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Skyline Medical Center, Nashville. Born May 24, 1939 in Robertson County, he was the son of the late Orian E. Grubbs and Grace Phipps Grubbs. Malcolm was also preceded in death by a brother, Joe Neil Grubbs. Malcolm loved being on his farm and had worked for more than 30 years at the United Methodist Publishing House. He served in the US Army. He was a life-long member of Bethel Baptist Church where he served in various capacities. He also delivered "meals on wheels" for many years. Malcolm loved his family, was a devoted uncle and enjoyed being with kids. He is survived by his brother, Jerry Grubbs (Linda); niece, Amy Crowe; grandnephew, Evan Crowe; and his aunt, Mary Rush. Visitation will be held at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, TN on Sunday, April 25th from 1:30 until 2:30. A celebration of life service will begin at 2:30 pm. Private family burial will be held later at Mayes Cemetery, Greenbrier, TN. The family requests that those attending the visitation or service kindly wear a mask.
