Lisabeth A Vine, age 76, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away peacefully at her home on May 6, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on January 28, 1950, in Neon, KY, Lisabeth’s journey was one of dedication, love, and an enduring passion for the ever-evolving world of technology.
Throughout her distinguished career, Lisabeth worked as an information technology specialist within the healthcare industry, focusing on medical claims. Her expertise and commitment led her to significant roles and tenure at Emdeon and later WebMD, where she remained a vital part of their teams until her retirement. Her professional life was marked not only by her technical skills but also by her thoughtful approach and unwavering determination, a true fighter and strong-willed individual who always embraced challenges with insight and grace, not only in her professional life, but in her personal life as well.
Beyond her career, Lisabeth was known for her deep love of computers and technology. From the early 1980s, she keenly followed technological trends, even building her own computers—a testament to her ingenuity and curiosity. Her hobbies reflected her unique personality; she was an avid collector of dolls, amassing a cherished collection of over 500 dolls, ranging from delicate porcelain figures to vibrant Barbie dolls, each one held with the same care and passion she extended to all aspects of her life.
Lisabeth was a thinker—intelligent and witty, with a humor that could light up any room. She was caring and loving, always ready to celebrate the accomplishments of others, finding joy in their successes as if they were her own. Above all, Lisabeth took immense pride in her family, whom she loved dearly. Her relationships with those closest to her were the centerpiece of her life and her proudest accomplishment. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, strength, and unconditional love that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Lisabeth is preceded in death by her parents Sam and Mary Castle. She is survived by her husband John Vine, daughters Tracy (Dan) Russett and Michelle Banks, and grandchildren Nash and Jaxon. She is also survived by her three sisters, nieces and nephews, and her beloved fur baby Oreo, the border collie.
Friends and family will gather to honor Lisabeth’s memory at a visitation on May 13, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by her funeral service at 2:00 PM at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, located at 127 N Main St. These moments offer a time for all who were touched by Lisabeth’s kindness and brilliance to come together in remembrance and gratitude for a life so beautifully lived.
