Lisa Whitaker

Lisa Gayle Whitaker, 56, of Goodlettsville, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Skyline Medical Center. Born August 16, 1965 in Nashville, TN, Lisa was the daughter of the late J.T. and Anette Russell. Lisa had worked at the Joelton Middle School where she was a cafeteria worker and also worked in maintenance and security. She loved going to the lake and enjoyed keeping up with the yardwork at her home. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was especially close to her granddaughter, Karma Jolynn Hughes, whom she had raised since infancy. In addition to Karma, Lisa is survived by her husband of nearly 34 years, Myron Neal Whitaker; and her sons, David N. Whitaker and Dylan T. Whitaker. There are no funeral services scheduled at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, TN.
