Linda Dodson

Linda Carol Dodson, age 72, passed away July 5, 2019. She was born in Michigan on April 20, 1947 to the late Quinton and Beverly White. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dodson, Sr., and her daughter, Candice Dodson. She is survived by her son, Billy (Antwion) Dodson, Jr.; brothers, Joseph (Suzanne) White, and Larry (Betty) Thomas; several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Linda became a single mother and widow at a young age, and worked very hard to raise her two children. She worked for several years as a custodian at Beech High School where she was loved by the staff and students. Linda also loved playing Bingo, and her beloved cat Sugar. She loved watching crime dramas on television, at times very late into the night. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her. A celebration of her life will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home White House at 2pm on Saturday July 13, with visitation from 10 am until service time.
