Linda Carol Brown went to her heavenly home on January 12, 2020. She was born on December 23, 1946 in Nashville, TN and lived in the Nashville and Goodlestville area her whole life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Virginia Brown and sister, Brenda Coker. She is survived by her brother Gary (Vera) Brown, Brother-in-law Barry Coker,Nephew Ryan (Beth) Brown, Nephew Stephen Coker, Niece Carrie Coker and Grand Nephew JJ Brown. Carol was a graduate of White House High School and Draughn's Business College. She worked for LM Berry (yellow pages), GENESCO, and State Auto Insurance before retiring. She has been a member of Goodlestville Southern Methodist Church for more than 30 years where she served in the Children's ministry, teaching Sunday School and serving in the nursery. Carrol has always been a caregiver. She would often meet needs and give support to family and friends. In her spare-time she enjoyed traveling and visiting historical sites. Carol particularly enjoyed sharing meals with her friends on a regular basis at Cracker Barrel. Visitation for Carol will be held Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 10 AM until 12 noon at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville followed immediately by a celebration of life service at noon. A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 11 AM at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
