She was preceded in death by her husband, Ishmael Reed, daughter, Frieda Smith, and beloved brothers and sisters. Survived by her sister, Mary Hiter, brother, John Collie, granddaughters; Jimmi Bart Schneider, and Leslie Smith, great-granddaughter, Lexi Schneider, and beloved nieces and nephews.The family chose cremation and there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sumner Hospice, 510 East Main Street, Gallatin, TN 37066.
