Larry Hewitt Stamps, a kind and loving individual born on October 30, 1938, in Nashville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025, in White House, Tennessee.
Larry was not only known for his mastery in BBQ, but he was also celebrated as an Ace Truck Driver, a title that reflected his dedication and skill throughout his long career. He was a man who "fought the dragons" for his family, embodying his unwavering commitment and love for them. His personality left an indelible mark on all who knew him, as he was a source of strength, support, and joy.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Dixie Stamps, and their son, Mitchell (Lisa) Stamps, who, along with their family, will cherish his memories and carry forward his legacy. He was preceded in death by his parents and nine siblings, who surely welcomed him with open arms.
Services will be held on February 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM, with a Graveside Service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, located at 1150 Dickerson Rd, Goodlettsville, TN 37072. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring Larry's life and the many cherished memories he leaves behind. His warmth, spirit, and dedication to family will forever be remembered in the hearts of those he touched.
