Kimberly Newberry

Kimberly Chiffon Newberry, age 61, of Lebanon, TN passed away on July 14th, 2025, in Cross Plains, TN surrounded by her loved ones after a brief but hard fight with cancer. Kimberly was born on December 20th, 1963, in Lebanon, TN to her parents Frankie and Evelyn Dies. She is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her son Joseph Dies. She is survived by her children Christina (Josh) Murphy and Daniel Shoopman, and three grandchildren: Avery Smith, Leah Baines, and Jackson Covington. Kimberly also leaves behind two brothers Kenneth Dies and Khristopher (Leitha) Dies. Although she is gone, her memory will forever reside within them all.

Kimberly was undeniably an old soul, resilient and unyielding in the face of life's hardships, her determination inspired those who knew her. A proud graduate of Lebanon High School, Kimberly was known for her sensible and responsible demeanor, she carried the warmth of a loving heart that extended generously to those around her.

In her leisure, Kimberly found solace in simpler pleasures of life. She liked to relax by playing solitaire and would often immerse herself in an array of puzzles, keeping her mind both busy and sharp at the same time. Her presence was a calming force, as she gracefully navigated the world around her with the unwavering support and love of her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening. Her flower beds would turn the eye of her neighbors, as her flower’s vivid colors brightened up the neighborhood and lives of all she was able to interact with.

A Memorial Service for Ms. Kimberly Newberry on August 3rd, 2025. Friends and family are welcome to gather at 2 o’clock hour to share memories and fellowship. Then, at 3PM we will transition into our memorial service. As we reflect on the life of Kimberly Newberry, we remember her as a woman who thrived on the vibrancy of life itself. Her legacy will continue to bloom in the gardens she nurtured and in the hearts of those who cherished her love and laughter.
