Kenneth Atlee Pond

Kenneth Atlee Pond, Sr., a dedicated, hardworking individual who retired from Nissan, passed away on April 20, 2024, in Hendersonville, TN. He was born on October 15, 1954, in Nashville, TN.
 
Described as very friendly with a perpetually warm smile, Kenneth's personality left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Beyond his professional life, Kenneth found joy in watching and playing sports and was a devoted fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide, Roll Tide.
 
Kenneth was a 1973 graduate of White House High School where he excelled in football, basketball, and baseball. 
 
One of Kenneth's proudest accomplishments was his role as "Pappy" to his beloved grandchildren, Lane, Jolee, Kali, Natalie, Jaxson, Traven, and Trenton. 
 
His is preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Linda Pond; his parents Clifton and Dorothy (Cole) Pond and his sibling Lavonne Jeanette Pond.
 
Kenneth is survived by his children Rachael (Daniel) Johnson, Atlee (Kristen) Pond, and Travis (Shane Ann) Pond; as well as his siblings Al (Alice) Pond, Roger (Shannon) Pond, and Brenda (Jim) Eggert.
 
Services to honor and celebrate the life of Kenneth Atlee Pond, Sr., will be held at the Cole & Garrett Funeral Home and Cremation Services in White House, TN. Visitation will take place on April 23 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on April 24 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A Celebration of Life ceremony will follow on April 24 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
 
Kenneth's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched with his kindness and warm spirit. May he rest in peace.

Serving as pallbearers will be Travis Pond, Atlee Pond, Daniel Johnson, Lane Spivey, Traven Pond, and Roger Pond; and honorary pallbearers, Jaxson and Trenton Pond.
