Kenneth Hardaway Sr

Mr. Kenneth “Wayne” Hardaway Sr. age 77 of Goodlettsville, TN passed away July 26, 2022. He was born July 16, 1945, in Hendersonville, TN to the late John L. Luther and Lillie Mai Hardaway.

Along with his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by wife, Ruby Mae (Miller) Hardaway; daughters, Tammy Hardaway and Anita Smith; brothers, Roy Leon Hardaway, Douglas Hardaway, and William Hardaway.

Wayne is survived by daughter, Barbara (Jeff) Sircy; son, Kenneth (Connie) Hardaway Jr.; grandchildren, Angel, Katie, Joey, Garrett, Brandon, Nina, Jacob, Nichole, Troy Jr., and Cory; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Ann Ford, Edith Hornal, Alice Hardaway and Nancy Frakes.

Wayne worked as a carpenter most of his career. He was an excellent trim carpenter and made several pieces of furniture. He worked with Parker Custom Construction for 10+ years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. Wayne loved to listen to WSM Radio, especially on Friday nights and Sunday mornings. He loved watching western movies.

Wayne loved his family, enjoyed spending time with them and he loved his adopted beagle. He was greatly loved and will be truly missed.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted by Pastor Alan Baggett on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Today’s Victory Church located at 1017 Stearman Drive, White House, TN 37188. The family will be receiving friends at 11:00 a.m. until the service time at 12 p.m.
