Kelvin Burton

Kelvin Ray Burton, 60, of Sparta, died Wednesday April 22, 2020. Born October 11, 1959 in Nashville, TN, Ray was the son of the late John N. Burton, Jr. and Lillie Pearl (Stancil) Burton. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Danielle Burton. Ray was a fun-loving guy who was uniquely behind the times. He was a bit of a "hippie" by nature and loved Pink Floyd. Ray worked as a roofer for many years. He is survived by his daughters, April Peoples and Amanda Rossak; sons, Bryce Burton and Sean Miller; his brother, David Burton; sisters, Robyn Hunter and Susan Burton; and 7 grandchildren, Avery Peoples, Elijah Peoples, Santi, Carlito, Antonio, Trinity & Boogie. Visitation and a celebration of life service will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 PM at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, TN.
