Kelly Michelle Stewart, 41, of Cross Plains went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. Born in Nashville, TN on July 27, 1978, Kelly was the daughter of Wayne Stewart and Linda (Bush) Carringer. Kelly was raised in White House and later moved to North Carolina where she graduated from Swain County High School. A lively individual, Kelly always made an impact of calm and peace when entering a room. She loved flowers, shopping, and music. Kelly also kept journals and enjoyed writing and coloring. The center of her attentions was always her family. She was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a woman of faith and was recently baptized. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Kyla (Tylor) Rich; grandson, Bently Griffin; her parents, Wayne (Gidget) Stewart, and Linda (Alvin) Carringer; brother, Jason Stewart; step-brothers, Matt (Kate) Waters and Heath (Lindsay) Waters; step-sisters, Heather Waters, Jessamyn Hilton and Katie Waters; nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members and many friends. A life celebration service for Kelly will be held Sunday, July 5, 2020 at 3 PM at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, White House, TN. Visitation will precede the service Sunday from 1 to 3 PM.
