ADAMS, Kay E., age 91, passed away June 6, 2011. She is preceded in death by parents, John and Katie Cassiday; son, James David Adams. She is survived by her beloved husband of 71 years John Adams; sons, George Betsy Adams, Kenneth Bonnie Adams; daughter, Janet Charles Gammon; 10 grandchildren; Numerous great-grand children; In lieu of flowers please make donations to the First United Methodist Church "Young at Heart Club". A Life Celebration Service will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home with Rev. Don Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
