June Mitchell

Shirley Mitchell, age 79 of Hendersonville, formerly of Gallatin passed away November 29, 2011. Mrs. Mitchell worked for many years at the Baptist Sunday School Board and was a member of Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Mitchell and step-son, Glenn Edward Mitchell. She is survived by her son, David Marcelle Guilbeau Baird; grandson, Liam Skye Baird; sister, Linda Hall Hardaway; sister, Gayle Ben Batey; brothers-in-law, Thomas Harry Barbara Mitchell and James Mitchell. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 4th from 4-8 p.m. at Crestview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 5th at 10:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Crestview Funeral Home with Malcolm Patton officiating. Interment will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens.
