Julie's career as a dog breeder and groomer brought her much joy and fulfillment. She dedicated countless hours to caring for her furry companions, ensuring they were always in perfect condition. She is survived by her son Anthony Sloan; daughters Kim (Eric) Sloan and Monica Restrepo; daughters-in-law Cindy Restrepo and Tammy Restrepo; sister; Dian (Mike) Lynch, grandchildren, Shawn Stephen Sloan, Jeremy Lee Wayne Sloan, Daniel Evan Waggoner, Britney Ray Broach, Benjamin Tyler Broach, Michael Antonio Restrepo, Charlie Rowland Boyle, IV, Monique Alexis Hutsell, Marley Anjoli Restrepo, Aeryn Lydia Restrepo, Hannah Elizabeth Restrepo, and Jensen Sloan; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Preceding Julie in death are her parents Floyd Haskell and Willie Frances Hiland Stockton, her beloved husband Wendell Darrow, and sons Tony Restrepo and John Restrepo. She held dear memories of her dear ones and cherished the time she spent with them.

Visitation services for Julie May Darrow will be held on August 5, 2023, at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. The visitation will begin at 1:00pm and conclude at 4:00pm.

Julie's proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly her success in breeding and showing champion dogs. Her dedication and expertise in this realm brought pride to both herself and the canine community. Her impact on the dog breeding world will not be forgotten.
