Juanita A. Saunders, 83, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023, in Gallatin, Tennessee. Born December 8, 1939, in Eagleville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late James Thomas Alsup and Frances Maude Scott Alsup.
Her family will remember her as a strong willed, independent woman who loved her children, cats, and trips to the beach.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her longtime companion Fred Allen.
She is survived by her children Barbara (Steve) Deloach, Billy Saunders, and Cathy Saunders; grandchildren Jesse (Shelly) Saunders, Lane (Celeste) Saunders, and Lauren (Grant) Alberstadt; great grandchildren Madison Saunders, Zoey Saunders, Ellie Saunders, Henry Saunders, JoAnna Saunders, and Hadley Alberstadt.
In keeping with Juanita's wishes, her body will be cremated. Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville has been entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
