Joseph Whitson

Joe, was a storyteller, and avid sports fan. More importantly,he was a father and grandfather. He passed away peacefully on December 12, 2017 in the hands of his son and daughter at the age of 67. Joe was born to the late Dewey Haden Whitson and the late Katherine Palmer Whitson, and he continued the love for the White House community that Dewey had instilled. He is survived by his son, Joseph Haden (Emily) Whitson, and their children, Katie Jo and Haden; daughter, Lindsey Whitson (Scotty) West, and their children Bryson and Mallory; sisters, Pam (Doug) Wells, Joyce (JD) Beard, and the mother of his children, Anne Whitson. A celebration of life will be held December 30th from 2-6 pm at Mr. Whitson's residence in White House. The family will provide more details at a later date to anyone desiring to attend.
